Veteran CHICAGO radio manager HARVEY WELLS has exited the GM post at MID-WEST FAMILY BROADCASTING/LONG NINE's News-Talk WMAY-A-W234CC, Country WUSW (US 92.7), Active Rock WQLZ, and AC WNNS/SPRINGFIELD, IL after just over two years, reports ROBERTFEDER.COM.

WELLS, who joined MID-WEST FAMILY in NOVEMBER 2016 after stints at CBS RADIO in CHICAGO and SAN BERNARDINO and NEWSWEB RADIO/CHICAGO and as a consultant to ANTHEM BROADCASTING, told FEDER that he is returning to CHICAGO for personal reasons and praised MID-WEST FAMILY, saying he "cannot say enough good things" about the company.
