CFRB/Toronto, CKLW/Windsor Host Mark Elliott Dies At 65

NILS JOHANSON, better known in Canadian radio as a longtime host MARK ELLIOTT on BELL MEDIA News-Talk CFRB-A (NEWSTALK 1010)/TORONTO and News-Talk CKLW-A/WINDSOR, died of pneumonia in ST CATHARINES, ON on JANUARY 11th at 65.

ELLIOTT hosted "PEOPLE HELPING PEOPLE" on CKLW beginning in 1994, billed as NORTH AMERICA's first weekly addiction recovery show.  He later brought the show to CFRB and hosted the late-night show "THE NIGHTSIDE" on weeknights.

Donations In lieu of flowers are being accepted in his honor at PROJECT SHARE in NIAGARA FALLS or THE SCOTT MISSION in TORONTO.
