White House Correspondents To Appear On NAB Show Panel

The NAB SHOW has scheduled a panel of network WHITE HOUSE correspondents for this year's convention.  "Beyond the Briefing Room: Tales From the White House Beat” will be held APRIL 9th on the Main Stage at the LAS VEGAS conference.  On the panel will be PBS' YAMICHE ALCINDOR, NBC's HALLIE JACKSON, CBS' STEVEN PORTNOY, and ABC's CECILIA VEGA, interviewed by NAB Pres./CEO GORDON SMITH.

“Rarely in the history of AMERICA has the role of the journalist come under as much scrutiny,” said NAB EVP of Communications DENNIS WHARTON. “We look forward to hearing from four of today’s most respected WHITE HOUSE reporters on how they hold government officials accountable, and how they view the role of a free press in a democratic society.”
