D.C.-Based Grocer Giant Food Starts Branded-Content Nutrition Podcast

AHOLD DELHAIZE's WASHINGTON-based GIANT FOOD supermarket chain has started its own branded-content podcast.  "NUTRITION MADE EASY!" is posting bi-weekly episodes with participation by GIANT's registered dietitians and nutritionists.

"GIANT FOOD proudly supports our customers in navigating their wellness journey by offering in-store nutritionists, The Guiding Stars Program, and now our first podcast, NUTRITION MADE EASY!," said GIANT FOOD President GORDON REID. "We're excited to have an accessible space where shoppers can get their biggest questions about their health and favorite products answered by our in-store industry experts."

The WASHINGTON-based GIANT FOOD is one of two grocery chains owned by AHOLD DELHAIZE with the GIANT name; the other is based in PENNSYLVANIA and carries the MARTIN'S name in areas where the two GIANTS overlap.
