ADA Ups David McGilvray To SVP/Radio Promotion

ALTERNATIVE DISTRIBUTION ALLIANCE (ADA) WORLDWIDE promotes DAVID MCGILVRAY to SVP/Radio Promotion.  MCGILVRAY joined ADA in 2015 as VP/Promotion.

“DAVID has a demonstrated record of strategic successes,” said ADA President, A&R And Label Services, KENNY WEAGLY. “I am excited to announce his well-deserved promotion and highlight the passion, experience, dedication, and perseverance that he brings to ADA on behalf of our artist and label partners, both in his core field of radio promotion, and beyond it. DAVID’s new additions to the radio promotion team—ALISA, RICK, and MARY, reflect his understanding of the needs of our partners across a variety of radio formats in 2019 and beyond.”

With over 20 years of experience in the music industry, MCGILVRAY previously spent 17 years at ISLAND DEF JAM.  MCGILVRAY began his career at BON JOVI MANAGEMENt and MERCURY RECORDS. 

Alisa Applegate, Rick Betemit, And Mary Taggart Join ADA Team

MCGILVRAY recently added ALISA APPLEGATE, RICK BETEMIT, and MARY TAGGART to his ADA team. APPLEGATE joins as VP/West Coast Promotion, RICK BETEMIT as Dir./Urban Promotion, and MARY TAGGART as Regional Promotion Manager. Sr, Director/Promotion, TOMMY DELANEY will continue to specialize on Alternative, Rock and Triple A radio.
