Radio Vet Scott Simon Passes Away Suddenly

ALL ACCESS extends condolences to family, friends, and colleagues of radio vet SCOTT SIMON, who passed away suddenly early this morning (1/25).

“All of us at WESTWOOD ONE are very saddened about the news, and our hearts are with his family," said VP/Country Programming GEORGE KING. “SCOTT was an incredible jock and just a great person. He will be missed.”

SIMON most recently served as Mainstream Country format jock for WESTWOOD ONE's 24/7 Formats division since 2017. His additional career stops include on-air duties at CUMULUS Country KATM/MODESTO, CA; CUMULUS AC KMGA/ALBUQUERQUE and Country clustermate KRST; ALPHA MEDIA Country KUPL/PORTLAND as well as ENTERCOM Crosstown KWJJ; and then-CBS RADIO WKIS/MIAMI.
