JJ McKay, Veteran Host, Programmer, And Imaging Specialist, Passes Away

Longtime radio host, programmer, and voiceover specialist JJ MCKAY has passed away, ALL ACCESS has learned. MCKAY had been battling illness for several years following hip replacement surgery. He was 64.
MCKAY's storied resumé included stops at WPGC, WAVA, and WRQX/WASHINGTON, KIIS/LOS ANGELES, WROQ/CHARLOTTE, KHYI/KODZ and KHKS (106.KISS FM)/DALLAS, KXKL (KOOL 105), KOA-A, and KKFN (104.3 THE FAN)/DENVER, KGTW/KETCHIKAN, AK, and KCJF (103.9 THE GAME)/JONESBORO, AR. He also called UNIVERSITY OF NORTHERN COLORADO baseball and women's basketball. Most recently, he did extensive imaging work as JJ MCKAY PRODUCTIONS and served as a weekend news anchor at CUMULUS News-Talk WBAP-A/DALLAS.
