The FCC has rescheduled its FEBRUARY Open Meeting for VALENTINE'S DAY (1/14) and will take up items originally on the JANUARY meeting agenda but scrapped due to the government shutdown.
The tentative agenda items include changes to the comparative processing and licensing rules for noncommercial educational FMs and low power FMs, the proposed elimination of Form 397 (the Broadcast Mid-Term Report). The meeting was originally scheduled for FEBRUARY 21st but is being advanced a week because the agency's funding under the Continuing Resolution only funds operations through FEBRUARY 15th.
