KDWB Froze Our 'B' Off In The Cold

The Polar Vortex has had the temperatures in MINNEAPOLIS as low as -28 forcing the closure of schools, banks, businesses, including the offices of iHEARTMEDIA Top 40, KDWB -- but the show must go on, so the programming staff showed up.

KDWB morning man DAVE RYAN went to PD/Regional Dir.-Top 40 Programming RICH DAVIS with a "hot" idea -- drop the "B" from KDWB -- for the logo, the imaging, the jingles, even the website ... KDWB froze our "B" off in the cold!

DAVIS told ALL ACCESS, "This was a stroke of genius on DAVE's part. We all went to work on the logos on the site and all of imaging, jingles -- you name it -- only showing or saying K-D-W ... and no B! -- lotta buzz in the market. So funny to hear the personalities not say 'B' - instead it was 101.3, K-D-W ..."
