Chuck Edwards, Alpha Media/Biloxi Creative Services Dir. And PA Voice Of New Orleans Saints And Pelicans, Dies At 49

ALPHA MEDIA/BILOXI-GULFPORT, MS Creative Services  Director CHUCK EDWARDS has passed away, reports TEGNA CBS affiliate WWL-TV/NEW ORLEANS.  He was 49.

EDWARDS served as public address announcer for NEW ORLEANS SAINTS football since 1997 and NEW ORLEANS PELICANS basketball since 2007.  Since 2010, EDWARDS headed up production at the ALPHA cluster in BILOXI, and previously handled the same duties for the iHEARTMEDIA (then CLEAR CHANNEL) cluster in the market in 2000-2010.  In addition, EDWARDS co-hosted "THE HAPPY HOUR WITH TOMMY D" on ALPHA's Sports WANG-A-WTNI-A-W278CE (THE CHAMP)/BILOXI until 2016.
