WBUR/Boston To Open New CitySpace Venue On February 28th

BOSTON UNIVERSITY News-Talk WBUR/BOSTON is opening its new multimedia performance venue, WBUR CITYSPACE at the LAVINE BROADCAST CENTER, on FEBRUARY 28th with a special community day that will feature a live broadcast of "RADIO BOSTON."

The schedule includes the live "RADIO BOSTON" show (3-4p (ET)); WBUR and REDDIT's "ENDLESS THREAD" podcast (4-5p); local "MORNING EDITION" host BOB OAKES with reporters BARBARA MORAN, CHRISTINE WILLMSEN, CAREY GOLDBERG, and SHIRA SPRINGER (5-5:30p); and "The ARTery Happy Hour" with storyteller BETHANY VAN DELFT and musician KERRIN CONNOLLY (5:30-7p).  A custom art installation will also be featured throughout the schedule.

Guests to appear at CITYSPACE in its first year include author MARGARET ATWOOD, "THE GOOD PLACE" creator MICHAEL SCHUR, composer PHILIP GLASS, body language psychologist AMY CUDDY, and comedian JANEANE GAROFALO.
