WJNI/Charleston Taps Terry Base For PD/Mornings

KIRKMAN BROADCASTING Gospel WJNI (106.3)/CHARLESTON has hired veteran broadcaster TERRY BASE for PD/Mornings. Most recently he programmed CUMULUS MEDIA/CHARLESTON Urban WWWZ and Urban AC WMGL.  BASE’s resume includes KJMS/MEMPHIS, KHXT/LAFAYETTE, and served as National Urban Format General for LARRY WILSON’s former CITADEL BROADCASTING CORP.

BASE told ALL ACCESS, “I’m glad to return to programming after some time off.  It's what I do best, and I will work hard to expose this great genre of music to an even broader audience. Gospel music is a sleeping giant.  I look forward to taking an already strong heritage Gospel FM to even higher heights into 2019 and beyond.”
