WHSL LLC is donating Silent WHSL/LISMAN, AL to Dr. MICHAEL AUGUSTUS' AUGUSTUS FOUNDATION INC. for a $42,000 tax receipt and LMA before closing.

Meanwhile, AUGUSTUS' DR. MICHAEL AUGUSTUS CULTURAL AND MUSICAL ARTS FOUNDATION is also selling Silent KYWY/PINE BLUFFS. WY to CLARKE COUNTY BROADCASTING LLC.for an undisclosed purchase price "mutually agreed between both parties."  AUGUSTUS has also requested an extension of its Silent STA for KYWY "pending sale of station and equipment purchase."

TIMES COMMUNICATIONS INC. has applied for an STA to operate WHLY-A/SOUTH BEND, IN with reduced power at night because repairs to the nighttime transmission system have not been completed.

WFNR AM, LLC has filed for a Silent STA for WFNR/BLACKSBURG, VA due to "ongoing technical and operational issues with the station."

RAINBOW HEIGHTS NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION AND CRIME WATCH, INC. has requested an extension of its Silent STA for low power FM WURK-LP/TAMPA while it awaits zoning approval for its tower.

And HICKORY RADIO, LLC has applied for a Silent STA for K293CJ/OMAHA while it builds its new facility as K294DJ/LINCOLN, NE.

Also, Notices of Unlicensed Operation have been served on TARA CANNON (92.9 FM, PARLIN, NJ); PAUL CANNON (92.9 FM, PARLIN, NJ); PATRICK REID (98.1 FM, BRONX); and ERNST and PIERRILISE GOURDET (88.3 FM, HYDE PARK, MA).
