Veteran programmer and air talent CRUZE joins CLEAR CHANNEL Alternative WWDC (DC 101)/WASHINGTON as PD, effective JANUARY 2. Most recently PD at GREATER MEDIA Classic Rock WMGK/PHILADELPHIA, CRUZE previously worked at the FNX RADIO NETWORK (based at WFNX/BOSTON), KTBZ (THE BUZZ)/HOUSTON, WKBQ/ST. LOUIS, and WABB-F/MOBILE. He replaces RICK SCHMIDT, who exited in OCTOBER.

"The opportunity to hire someone with the skill set and expertise in the format like CRUZE was one I could not pass up," said CLEAR CHANNEL WASHINGTON-BALTIMORE OM JEFF KAPUGI. "I see great things happening at DC 101 in 2007."
