After what PD BRIAN JENNINGS calls “13 months of reconstruction,” GRIFFIN COMMUNICATIONS Country KVOO/TULSA now has completed its on-air lineup. Effective MONDAY, FEBRUARY 4th, JENNINGS moves from afternoons to middays; NIKKI REID is upped from weekends and fill-ins to afternoons; and TANNER MESSER, previously with the station’s promotion department, is the new evening talent. As ALL ACCESS previously reported (NET NEWS 12/20/18), MD AMBER GLAZE moved to mornings in JANUARY alongside MARTY YOUNG on the “VOO CREW” show. Both middays and nights had previously been voicetracked by other personalities within the cluster.
Notes JENNINGS, “KVOO is one of the very few major Country stations that is live, local, and in-studio in all major dayparts … Now it’s off to the races!”
MESSER’s afternoon show will also be heard on Classic Country sister KXBL (BIG COUNTRY 99.5), where JENNINGS will do nights. REID will also host nights on Top 40 sister KHTT (106.9 K-HITS).
