Griffin Communications/Tulsa Names Dave Michaels KBEZ PD, Ups Tanner Messer And Nikki Reid

New PD, On-Air Hosts

GRIFFIN COMMUNICATIONS has named DAVE “WAVY DAVY” MICHAELS PD/afternoons for Classic Hits KBEZ (92.9 THE DRIVE)/TULSA; promoted TANNER MESSER to afternoons on Classic Country KXBL (BIG COUNTRY 99.5) and evenings at sister Country KVOO; and promoted NIKKI REID to afternoons at KVOO and nights at sister Top 40 KHTT (K-HITS 106.9).

MICHAELS comes from COX MEDIA GROUP, where he spent time doing afternoons at rival Classic Rock KJSR (103.3 THE EAGLE). “DAVE’s experience, well-loved personality and voice talents make him an invaluable addition to our team,” GRIFFIN RADIO Dir./Operations STEVE HUNTER said. “We’re looking forward to seeing his work in action here at THE DRIVE.
