X.Ray Burns, WFMU/East Orange, NJ Personality, Passes Away

Longtime AURICLE COMMUNICATIONS Variety WFMU/EAST ORANGE, NJ "THE GLEN JONES PROGRAMME FEATURING X.RAY BURNS" co-host X.RAY BURNS has passed away after a battle with advanced lung cancer.  BURNS (KEN GREEN) served as JONES' sidekick on the SUNDAY afternoon radio show for 30 years.

A wake is scheduled for THURSDAY (2/14) at THIELE-REID FAMILY FUNERAL HOME in KEARNY, NJ, 4-9p (ET), with a memorial service to be scheduled.  A GOFUNDME page has been set up to help his wife pay off the medical bills amassed during BURNS' illness.
