Multi-Artist Benefit Concert To Play Kinks Classics

A wide array of artists will come together to perform songs from THE KINKS Are the Village Green Preservation album and more at a WILD HONEY FOUNDATION benefit concert at THE ALEX THEATRE in GLENDALE, CA on SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 23rd. The show benefits the AUTISM THINK TANK (autismthinktanknj.org), a non-profit that brings together autism specialists, via an Internet medical conference, to tackle the medical/psychological issues faced by children like WILD HONEY co-founder PAUL ROCK’s 14-year-old son jAKE.
Among those performing include THE BASEBALL PROJECT's MIKE MILLS (R.E.M.); STEVE WYNN (DREAM SYNDICATE); LINDA PITMON, ELLIOT EASTON (THE CARS); REDD KROSS; SYD STRAW; TEXTONE singer/guitarist CARLA OLSON; PETER ASHER; TERRY REID; CLEM BURKE (BLONDIE); JOHN EASDALE (DRAMARAMA); KRISTIAN HOFFMAN; CARLA OLSON; THE THREE O'CLOCK; PETER HOLSAPPLE & CHRIS STAMEY (THE DB'S); MARK EITZEL (AMERICAN MUSIC CLUB); FREEDY JOHNSTON; DENNIS DIKEN (SMITHEREENS); ANNA WARONKER; IRA KAPLAN (YO LA TENGO); and JACKSHIT (featuring ELVIS COSTELLO & THE IMPOSTERS' PETE THOMAS and DAVEY FARAGHER, and VAL MCCALLUM).
The Musical Director is ROB LAUFER; the evening's host will be writer CHRIS MORRIS.
