Stars, Donations Come Out For KLUC/Las Vegas Toy Drive

CBS Top 40-Rhythm KLUC/LAS VEGAS' MORNING ZOO host CHET BUCHANAN spent 12 days atop a 30 foot scaffold to motivate listeners to donate toys for HELP! OF SOUTHERN NEVADA, and the result was a record-breaker: the 8th annual Toy Drive filled 14 fifty-foot ALBERTSON'S trailers with toys, plus 1,892 bicycles and over $30,560. in gift cards. 

The station calls it the largest radio station toy drive in AMERICA, and the event certainly drew some star power, with BOW WOW, FRANKIE J, CHRIS BROWN, NE-YO (twice!), YOUNG JEEZY, MEGAN ROCHELLE, LAX, UNK, JIBBS, JESSE MCCARTNEY, ICE CUBE, BOYZ II MEN, YANKEES first baseman JASON GIAMBI, the UFC's RANDY "THE NATURAL" COUTURE, golfer NATALIE GULBIS, and psychc GARY SPIVEY stopped by to help out.
