Collaborations Galore At 2019 LOCKN' Festival

The lineup for 2019 LOCKN' FESTIVAL, a four-day multi-stage camping event, has been announced; it will be held AUGUST 22nd-25th in ARRINGTON, VA at INFINITY DOWNS, a 387-acre property located at the foot of the BLUE RIDGE MOUNTAINS. 

The bill, boasting a number of artist collaborations, will feature TREY ANASTASIO BAND FEAT. DEREK TRUCKS alongside THE REVIVALISTS; ANASTASIO joining THE TEDESCHI TRUCKS BAND; OTEIL & FRIENDS feat. BOB WEIR with DEVON ALLMAN, DUANE BETTS & more; as well as GARY CLARK JR., CHRIS ROBINSON BROTHERHOOD, EDIE BRICKELL & NEW BOHEMIANS, MELVIN SEALS & JGB, MOONALICE collaborating with THE CHAMBERS BROTHERS, and many more.

"With LOCKN', we try and keep things fresh while also keeping them kind of the same," FESTIVAL Co-Founder/Exec. Producer PETER SHAPIRO said. "We think it's fun to have musicians who have played the festival multiple times return for more. Most other music festivals change their lineups year to year, without having acts play consecutive years, but we prefer to do things a little differently. That said, we are also excited to bring in some great bands that will be playing LOCKN' for the first time. And we have some cool collaborations that should reinvent the music while still keeping the soul of it, which, when it works, is magic and why we do the event."
