Concord's Karen Durkot Retires

Happy Retirement!

CONCORD MUSIC GROUP SVP/Promotion & Marketing JILL WEINDORF shares with ALL ACCESS, "The very legendary KAREN DURKOT is retiring after 40 years in the biz."

DURKOT was VP/Promotion for CONCORD for the past five years, but her 40-stint in the music business included stops at ELEKTRA, GEFFEN, V2, ADA and other labels.  

WEINDORF added, ""It's been my absolute privilege to have KAREN DURKOT as our Vice President, Promotion for the past five years.  Not many people get to retire out of this business.  With over 40 years of music biz success in her rear view mirror, KAREN will move to the next chapter of her life with our collective best wishes.  If we were a ball club, we'd retire her jersey.  There is simply no executive like her and she will be sorely missed."
