  While the FCC is closed TODAY (2/18) for the Presidents Day holiday, one station transaction closing has been announced.
  
  MIKE KLAPPENBACH's KVWC, INC. has closed on the sale of Variety KVWC-A and KVWC-F/VERNON, TX to MONTE SPEARMAN's HIGH PLAINS RADIO NETWORK's HPRN NETWORK, LLC for $100,000. MEDIA SERVICES GROUP's BILL WHITLEY served as the seller's exclusive broker for the deal.
