BOB OTTONE, a former radio personality on LONG ISLAND, NY who later went into teaching, died SUNDAY (2/17) at 73.
"BULLET BOB" worked at WGLI-A/BABYLON and WGBB-A/FREEPORT before teaching at BRENTWOOD HIGH SCHOOL, where he worked with the school's FM radio station WXBA as the station's GM for 23 years before his 2002 retirement. He also served as the public address announcer for the independent minor league baseball LONG ISLAND DUCKS.
