iHEARTMEDIA Country WEZL/CHARLESTON, SC, raised over $62,000 to benefit MUSC SHAWN JENKINS CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL, a system of preventive and clinical care that delivers advanced, evidence-based health services. The benefit concert took place FEBRUARY 12th at the CHARLESTON MUSIC HALL..  

The 2019 CONCERT FOR THE KIDS featured NASHVILLE recording artists WATERLOO REVIVAL, RUNAWAY JUNE, and JON PARDI, and was hosted by WEZL’s on-air personalities RIC RUSH and RILEY KLIM, and a former patient of the children’s hospital. 

“The 2019 CONCERT FOR THE KIDS was a huge success this year and a true testament to the community of CHARLESTON," iHEARTMEDIA CHARLESTON Area Pres. ALENE GREVEY said. "The new hospital will open in OCTOBER 2019 and we are all so lucky to have such a great resource in our town.”

In the last 11 years, iHEARTMEDIA CHARLESTON has raised more than $2.3 million to benefit MUSC SHAWN JENKINS CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL.
