Pandora Unveils 'Pandora Stories' Playlist-Podcast Hybrid

PANDORA has unveiled a new hybrid of podcasting and playlists on a platform open to artists and creators who can post the programs to the streaming audio service. The first series of "PANDORA STORIES," available TODAY (2/26) to PANDORA Premium subscribers in ad-free form and to users of the ad-supported version with a 30 second pre-roll ad, includes:

• JOHN LEGEND's GLORIOUS JOURNEY
• PASITO A PASITO CON DADDY YANKEE
• LAUREN ALAINA IS DOIN’ JUST FINE
• PERRY FARRELL’S OCEAN-SIZED TALES
• BROOKLYN SOUL WITH TOMMY BRENNECK (Songwriter, producer, guitarist)
• THE MUSIC OF WES ANDERSON WITH RANDALL POSTER
• A non-artist-specific special, LOVE SONGS THAT AREN’T REALLY LOVE SONGS

Artists and creators can set up their own PANDORA STORIES with tools available at http://www.AMPplaybook.com/pandora-stories (artists will need to submit their information to gain access to the tools through the PANDORA Artist Marketing Platform).  The service suggests that users create consistently formatted and posted episodes, but one-time "mixtapes" are also welcome.
