ABC NEWS' "THE INVESTIGATION" podcast made headlines this morning (3/5) with the surprising admission by former WHITE HOUSE lawyer TY COBB that he considers Special Counsel ROBERT MUELLER "an American hero" and that "I don't feel the investigation is a witch hunt.”

COBB, guesting on the latest episode of the podcast, gave an extensive interview in which he also said that he continues to believe that the Special Counsel's report will not find President TRUMP in serious trouble and that the primary findings of the investigation have already been revealed through the "speaking indictments" filed in court against 34 defendants, including PAUL MANAFORT. But the support for MUELLER by COBB on the podcast became front-page news this morning, with COBB saying MUELLER has "a backbone of steel.... he's also a class act. And a very justice-oriented person.”
