Syracuse Area Music Awards Hall Of Fame Adds WAQX 95X's Scott 'dXn' Dixon

dXn Honored With Sammy's Hall Of Fame Award

CUMULUS MEDIA Alternative WAQX (95X)/SYRACUSE APD/MD/afternooner SCOTT “dXn” DIXON was inducted into the SYRACUSE AREA MUSIC AWARDS (SAMMYS) HALL OF FAME last THURSDAY (3/7) at the PALACE THEATER.  DIXON was recognized as a major supporter of SYRACUSE’s local music scene for over 20 years, booking shows and festivals including WAQX’s 95X LOCALS ONLY FEST.

“DXN is a champion of the rich and varied pool of local musicians in our region," said CUMULUS/SYRACUSE VP/Market Manager BETH COUGHLIN. "His SAMMY’s HALL OF FAME award is well earned and deserved!" 

95X PD JOE DETOMASO added, “dXn has been a longtime supporter of the SYRACUSE music scene and I can’t think of someone more deserving of this honor!”

"I am flattered to be honored with this award and am so proud of all the bands and musicians I have had the honor of working with over the last two-plus decades," said SCOTT “dXn” DIXON.
