98 Rock/Tampa Raises Funds For Children's Home

CLEAR CHANNEL Rock WXTB (98 ROCK)/TAMPA raised over $92,000. in its 15th annual CHILDREN'S HOME Auction and Pay For Play Weekend this past weekend. Listeners pledged $25. per request and the station played whatever they wanted, from FRANK ZAPPA and CHAMILIONAIRE to KERMIT THE FROG. Meanwhile, autographed guitars from METALLICA, AEROSMITH, and NICKELBACK were auctioned along with other items. The annuall event benefits local charity THE CHILDREN'S HOME.
