BUBBA THE LOVE SPONGE weighed in TUESDAY (3/12) on the TUCKER CARLSON controversy (NET NEWS 3/12), checking in to GLENN BECK's PREMIERE NETWORKS show to call the firestorm over the FOX NEWS CHANNEL host's past comments on BUBBA's show "ridiculous," a "witch hunt," and "an attempt to assassinate," and pointing figures at "the other side" (the left) "playing their stupid games."
BUBBA said, "It's the snowflakin', can't accept no, refuse-to-lose mentality that everybody has, where, if the other side would just put a good candidate up and worry about issues at hand, and not try to get people's lives ruined based on technicalities ... I think it's just absolutely ridiculous and I think it's an assassination, or an attempt to assassinate people that do different or out-of-the-box programming against the establishment. I think it's trying to quell everybody."
BUBBA added that his show is an entertainment show and "it was an uncensored guy locker-room talk show ... we were just dudes," and that CARLSON is not a racist or sexist but a "regular dude." And he told BECK that he did speak to CARLSON after the controversy broke, offering his support and terming CARLSON's TV monologue responding to the criticism "brilliant."
