Amex Exec Joins XM Board

AMERICAN EXPRESS EVP and Corporate Comptroller JOAN LORDI AMBLE has joined the Board of Directors of XM SATELLITE RADIO. She will serve on the board's Audit Committee.

"We are very pleased to welcome Joan to the XM Board," said XM Chairman GARY PARSONS. "With her experience at AMERICAN EXPRESS, GE, ERNST AND YOUNG, and the FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING STANDARDS BOARD (FASB), she brings considerable financial expertise and insight to the board."
