Station Owner Dick Plessinger Dies

Condolences to family and friends of veteran station owner RICHARD (DICK) PLESSINGER, who passed away early TUESDAY morning, according to JOHN PIERCE AND CO., which served as broker for the sale of the last OHIO station PLESSINGER owned, Regional Mexican WCVG-A (LA LEY)/COVINGTON, KY-CINCINNATI, to DAVIDSON MEDIA GROUP in the FALL. PLESSINGER owned several stations in OHIO and continued to own AC WOYS (OUSTER RADIO 100.5) and Country WOCY (OYSTER COUNTRY 106.5)/APALACHICOLA, FL, which are managed by his son RICK.
