Integr8 Research: Google Home Attracts More Radio Listeners Than Alexa

The second blog in INTEGR8 RESEARCH's five-part series, “The ALEXA Effect: How Radio Can Thrive in a Connected World,” concerns data that shows GOOGLE HOME owners are 30% more likely to regularly stream a local FM station than are AMAZON ECHO owners.
The latest blog, “Why Radio Shouldn’t Ignore GOOGLE HOME,” notes that GOOGLE HOME users are the biggest streamers of local FM radio. “Radio has really done a great job in the past year teaching our listeners how to listen on smart speakers," INTEGR8 RESEARCH Pres. MATT BAILEY said. "However, stations are usually focusing all their attention on ALEXA. Both AMAZON and GOOGLE are growing fast. This study shows why ignoring those GOOGLE HOME users may be a mistake.”
