Beth Jacobs Named VP/Digital Strategies At Corporation For Public Broadcasting

CHOICE HOTELS Sr. Dir./Marketing and Distribution Strategy and Operations BETH JACOBS is joining the CORPORATION FOR PUBLIC BROADCASTING as VP/Digital Strategies, effective MARCH 25th. JACOBS, who previously oversaw mobile development at THE WASHINGTON POST and AOL and held marketing and business executive positions at COX ENTERPRISES, THE WEATHER CAHNNEL, AT&T, and other firms, will work with CPB Chief Content and Innovation Officer MAJA MRKOCI on the organization's development of digital media strategies for public radio and TV operations.
“BETH has an impressive track record of successfully transforming traditional businesses to digital-first, growth businesses by building new strategies and products as well as operational teams and practices,” said CPB COO MICHAEL LEVY. “She is a great addition to CPB’s work with national organizations, local stations and independent content producers to develop and scale digital strategies to advance public media’s vital mission.”
