KIWR (89-7 The River)/Omaha Providing Flood Relief For The Heartland

Providing Relief To Those Displaced And Impacted In Nebraska And Southwest Iowa

Following the recent historic HEARTLAND FLOODING which has affected 70 counties in NEBRASKA and over 30 counties in IOWA, IOWA WESTERN COMMUNITY COLLEGE Alternative KIWR (89-7 THE RIVER)/OMAHA has been working hard to help stuff trucks with clean up supplies to donate to THE SALVATION ARMY who are working alongside first responders for emergency disaster relief.

89-7 THE RIVER GM/PD SOPHIA JOHN said, "The MISSOURI RIVER spill over is not even two miles from my home.  I'm fine but there is water contamination and emergency disaster by both states. There is also damage to OFFUTT AIR FORCE.  The scope of this historic disaster has touched nearly every aspect of NEBRASKA & IOWA."
