Concert discovery platform BANDSINTOWN has acquired HYPEBOT.COM and MUSICTHINKTANK.COM. The acquisition expands upon BANDSINTOWN’s mission to help musicians grow their careers by offering free tools to more than 500,000 registered artists while simultaneously providing a platform for fans and artists to connect. Music industry veteran BRUCE HOUGHTON, who founded both HYPEBOT.COM and MUSICTHINKTANK.COM in 2004, will serve as adviser to BANDSINTOWN.
