CMA Presents 2019 International Awards

The COUNTRY MUSIC ASSOCIATION (CMA) recently presented its 2019 CMA INTERNATIONAL AWARDS to music industry executives and artists who have supported, and made a difference towards the growth and promotion of Country music in the international marketplace.

Backstage at AUSTRALIA'S CMC ROCKS MUSIC FESTIVAL, CHUGG ENTERTAINMENT Managing Dir. SUSAN HEYMANN received the CMA JO WALKER MEADER INTERNATIONAL AWARD from Country artist ASHLEY MCBRYDE and CMA VP/International Relations and Development MILLY OLYKAN.

The CMA JEFF WALKER GLOBAL COUNTRY ARTIST AWARD was presented to two different recipients this year. The first was given by Country singers LUKE COMBS and CAM to Australian Country artist TRAVIS COLLINS. The second was presented by CAM to British Country duo WARD THOMAS earlier this month.

Additional international award recipients included BBC RADIO 2 host BAYLEN LEONARD, who received the CMA INTERNATIONAL COUNTRY BROADCASTER AWARD; and Country artist KACEY MUSGRAVES who received the INTERNATIONAL ARTIST ACHIEVEMENT AWARD prior to her one of her FEBRUARY sold-out shows at NASHVILLE’S RYMAN AUDITORIUM (NET NEWS 2/28).
