Andrea Burtscher Adds MD Stripes At KMLE/Phoenix

ENTERCOM Country KMLE/PHOENIX has promoted ANDREA BURTSCHER to MD, effective immediately. BURTSCHER adds those duties in addition to her current role as Dir./Marketing and Promotions for ENTERCOM/PHOENIX, which also includes KOOL and KALV (LIVE 101.5). She replaces ALANA LYNN, who departed the station last month (NET NEWS 2/8).

Burtscher joined KMLE in 2008 as a Promotions Asst., and was promoted to Mgr./Marketing and Promotion in 2013. Prior to joining ENTERCOM, she held various promotions roles for WQYK/TAMPA and WKKO/TOLEDO.

“Country music is ANDREA’S lifeblood and we are confident that she will thrive in this role as she continues to have her pulse on what PHOENIX listeners want to hear,” said SVP/Market Manager DAVE PUGH. “The decision to elevate her to MD was an easy one, and I couldn’t be more proud of how far she has come.”
