The POST-GAZETTE reports that after two decades at WDVE/PITTSBURGH, SCOTT PAULSEN has left to launch a new show on CBS RADIO WRKZ (93.7 K-ROCK). PAULSEN's contract with CLEAR CHANNEL ended in SEPTEMBER, and his last broadcast there was FRIDAY (12/15). Because of a non-compete clause in his contract, he won't be able to launch his K-ROCK show until APRIL.
Despite the wait, "I'm really excited about the challenge," PAULSEN said. "It's such a great radio market."
"We're excited to work with SCOTT to develop his show concept on WRKZ, as soon as his contractual obligation to WDVE is over," said CBS RADIO/PITTSBURGH VP/Programming KEITH CLARK. "SCOTT is one of PITTSBURGH's most creative and well known air personalities, and we can't wait to welcome him to CBS RADIO."
