The OUTSIDE LANDS FESTIVAL returns to GOLDEN GATE PARK in SAN FRANCISCO AUG. 9th-11th with a predictably varied and eclectic lineup. PAUL SIMON, TWENTY ONE PILOTS and CHILDISH GAMBINO will each headline one of the three days. Other notable names performing include KACEY MUSGRAVES, BLINK-182, COUNTING CROWS, BEBE REXHA, LIL WAYNE, MAVIS STAPLES. THE LUMINEERS, KYGO, LEON BRIDGES, FLUME and ANDERSON .PAAK.
Also back this year is Grass Lands, a curated area focused on cannabis. The festival is also a significant environmental effort. PAUL SIMON announced that he will donate the entire net proceeds from his performance to local environmental non-profit organizations. Last year, it went "plastic straw free," donated 1.25 tons of food and introduced more reusable beer mugs and wine glasses, which led to a waste diversion rate of 92%.
