Gabby Parsons To Receive Madison Area Music Association 2019 Broadjam Lifetime Achievement Award

The MADISON AREA MUSIC ASSOCIATION will honor and showcase area musicians of all ages and genres at the 16th Annual MAMA AWARDS on SUNDAY, JUNE 9th in THE CAPITOL THEATER IN THE OVERTURE CENTER. 

As part of this event, the MAMA will recognize Triple A friend and legend GABBY PARSONS with the BROADJAM LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT Award. 

PARSONS, who retired after 47 years in radio broadcasting, was most recently MD and on-air host at ENTERCOM Triple A WMMM/MADISON, WI.

PARSONS was honored six years in a row with the Local Radio Personality of the Year at the MAMA Awards from 2011-2016 and won a National Music Director Award in 2013. 

She and her husband plan to move to VERMONT in the fall.
