HUBBARD Country WIL (New Country 92.3)/ST. LOUIS afternoon hosts MASON & REMY recently launched a petition drive to make the opening day of CARDINALS baseball a city-wide holiday. The campaign kicked off today (3/28), with the release of a music video that featured ST. LOUIS CARDINALS HALL OF FAME shortstop OZZIE SMITH, and the BUDWEISER Clydesdales.

“The history of baseball in ST. LOUIS runs deeper than the MISSISSIPPI RIVER," the duo said on the petition site. "We want to make sure that nobody misses out on a true ST. LOUIS holiday. We want to declare the first home game of baseball in ST. LOUIS an official holiday, so none of us have to use a vacation day or call in sick ever again!”
