No new station sale or transfer transactions appeared in the FCC database WEDNESDAY morning (4/3).
Among the filings that did make it into the FCC database, SALEM COMMUNICATIONS HOLDING CORPORATION has applied for an STA to operate WKAT-A/CORAL GABLES-MIAMI, FL with reduced power due to partial transmitter failure, and to operate KLUP-A/TERRELL HILLS-SAN ANTONIO, TX at reduced power while guy wires for its north tower are replaced.
SALEM MEDIA OF HAWAII, INC. has filed for an STA to operate KHCM-F/HONOLULU from an alternate tower while its tower is painted.
Requesting Silent STAs were URBAN RADIO LICENSES, LLC (WACR-F/COLUMBUS AIR FORCE BASE, MS, relocating); ROUTE 66 MEDIA, LLC (KHNZ/MEMPHIS, TX, tower lease expired); and MARTINSVILLE MEDIA, INC. (WMVA-A/MARTINSVILLE, WV, tower sold).
ALEXANDER BROADCASTING, INC. has applied for an extension of its Silent STA for WRCR-A/RAMAPO, NY while it applies for authority to restore service from a new site.
And TTA BROADCASTING, INC. has closed on the sale of Classic Rock WATG (95.7 THE RIDGE)/TRION-ROME, GA to EDUCATIONAL MEDIA FOUNDATION for $200,000. WATG is changing calls to WUKV and has flipped to Contemporary Christian using EMF's K-LOVE format.
