BBC Sport, talkSPORT Nab 3-Year Deals For Premier League U.K. Radio Rights

BBC SPORT and WIRELESS GROUP's Sports talkSPORT have retained radio broadcast rights in the U.K. to PREMIER LEAGUE soccer for the next three seasons.
BBC SPORT, which airs football matches on News-Talk BBC RADIO FIVE LIVE, won the bidding for four of the seven PREMIER LEAGUE packages, first pick in the SATURDAY 3p slot, SUNDAY 2p, SUNDAY 4:30p, and FRIDAY-SATURDAY-MONDAY nights; talkSPORT got second pick in the SATURDAY 3p slot plus SATURDAY matches at 12:30p and 5:30, giving the national commercial Sports station three matches every SATURDAY. talkSPORT continues to hold the global rights to all PREMIER LEAGUE matches outside the U.K. and IRELAND through 2022.
