SAN DIEGO STATE UNIVERSITY News-Talk KPBS-F/SAN DIEGO has debuted a new podcast examining whether scientific plot devices in classic novels are accurate and plausible.
"DEVICE" is hosted by EMILY T. GRIFFITHS and debuted WEDNESDAY (4/3) with an episode checking what would happen if the ocean really did freeze as it does in KURT VONNEGUT's "Cat's Cradle," with NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE Meteorologist ALEX TARDY offering expert testimony.
