Radio One/Philadelphia Taps Jay Dixon For PD Duties

RADIO ONE/PHILADELPHIA has named veteran programmer JAY DIXON PD.  He’ll be responsible for Urban AC WRNB (100.3), Inspiration WPPZ-HD2 (PRAISE 107.9), and Urban Oldies WPPZ (CLASSIX 107.9).

He has been consulting for KBLX/SAN FRANCISCO and  EMMIS/NEW YORK for the past five years.

DIXON said, “I’m excited to be with the RADIO ONE PHILLY team and would like to thank the URBAN ONE family for letting me lead these amazing brands in a city with such a rich R&B music heritage.  There’s work ahead but we have the people and resources to move quickly and make an impact.
