SMACK Promotes One, Hires Three

NASHVILLE-based publishing, management and artist development company SMACK has promoted MARISSA TURK to Assoc. Mgr. within the company’s management department. TURK began as an intern at SMACK in 2016, and was hired after graduating from the UNIV. OF ALABAMA. The management artist roster includes WALKER HAYES and KYLIE MORGAN. SMACK has also recruited TREVOR PROVOST, JAMIE COLOGNA and SAM SARNO.

PROVOST,  who previously worked at NASHVILLE marketing agency REACH, will take on the role of Assist. Mgr./Coord. to SVP Development. COLOGNA, who arrives from CAA, will serve as executive asst. to CEO SHANE MCANALLY and Pres. MICHAEL BAUM. SARNO joins the SMACKSongs publishing team as the Mgr./Catalog.

SMACK is led by songwriters/producers and SMACKSongs partners MCANALLY and JOSH OSBORNE, and has developed acts such as OLD DOMINION, SAM HUNT, KACEY MUSGRAVES, BRANDY CLARK, WALKER HAYES and more.
