WJRR/Orlando Paying Tribute To Kurt Cobain On 25th Anniversary Of His Death

iHEARTMEDIA Active Rock WJRR/ORLANDO and and several other FLORIDA iHEART Rock stations (WXTB (98 ROCK)/TAMPA, WWJK (PLANET RADIO 107.3)/JACKSONVILLE, WXSR (X101.5)/TALLAHASSEE and WDIZ (96 ROCK)/PANAMA CITY) are paying tribute to NIRVANA's KURT COBAIN TODAY (FRIDAY, APRIL 5th) on the 25th anniversary of his death.  

WJRR is paying tribute all day using interview clips and featuring a song each hour.  They will also dedicate their NINETIES NOONER to all things KURT/NIRVANA.

Later in the afternoon, the station has a tribute band called “NIRVANNA (like “ANNA”) a TRIBUTE TO NIRVANA” performing an acoustic set in the JRR performance studio for 40 listeners.  All winners get tickets to the PLUGGED IN tribute show with the band on FRIDAY evening at a local club downtown that holds about 300 people.
