Akron And Cleveland Personality Joe Finan Dies At 79

Condolences to family and friends of longtime AKRON and CLEVELAND radio personality JOE FINAN, who has passed away at 79. OHIO MEDIA WATCH initially reported FINAN's passing WEDNESDAY morning, and the website of his last radio stop, CLEAR CHANNEL Talk WARF-A (RADIO FREE OHIO)/AKRON, has a banner up noting his death with no further details. 

FINAN spent many years on crosstown Talk WNIR, and also worked at WIXY-A/CLEVELAND and KTLN-A/DENVER, among other stops as a jock and PD.
