Shawn Matthews Exits CC/Raleigh

SHAWN MATTHEWS will exit the CLEAR CHANNEL/RALEIGH cluster on 12/31 due to budget cuts. SHAWN first joined the cluster in 1997 as a part-time announcer for AC WRSN (Sunny 93.9), left in 1999 for an OM gig of a 6-station cluster with RADIO TRIANGLE EAST in nearby ROCKY MOUNT, NC, and then returned to the CC/RALEIGH cluster in 2003 where he has been a ultity person filling such roles as traffic reporter, morning show producer, WDUR PD and Assistant to the RVP/Programming.
