New KVOO/Tulsa Midday Host Chooses On-Air Name Brooks Williams

Updating our story from MONDAY (NET NEWS 4/8), the newly-hired GRIFFIN COMMUNICATIONS Country KVOO/TULSA midday host formerly known as CASH WILLIAMS has chosen the new on-air name BROOKS WILLIAMS. The personality (real name CALEB TOWE) previously was APD/MD and morning co-host at SUMMITMEDIA Country KTTS/SPRINGFIELD, MO.

“At KTTS, BROOKS was well known for asking his listeners to wake up each morning and ask themselves, ‘How can I be better today?’” said GRIFFIN COMMUNICATIONS Dir./Radio Operations STEVE HUNTER. “Bringing with him optimism and charisma, we are looking forward to having BROOKS join our GRIFFIN and KVOO teams, and we cannot wait to introduce him to our OKLAHOMA listeners.”

When asked why he chose OKLAHOMA, WILLIAMS said, “I wanted to go to one of the few places that had more thunderstorms than MISSOURI. My dogs will love that.”
